Julius Sterling Morton, former Secretary of Agriculture under President Cleveland, is known as the father of today's international holiday to plant and celebrate trees. He resided in Nebraska City in what is known today as Arbor Lodge Mansion with his wife Caroline and four son's, Joy, Mark, Paul and Carl. Learn more about J.
