Welcome! I'm Shawnna Silvius, founder and CEO of eVentures Marketing which I launched in October 2009. For more than 17 years, I have held professional marketing and economic development positions with non-profit and for-profit organizations in governmental, private and charitable sectors at local, state and national levels.
In 2012, I completed my Master of Science degree in Organizational Management focused on Entrepreneurship and Economic Development. My focus has been on coordinating and directing large conventions focused on environmental, entrepreneurial and economic development initiatives.
I am experienced with coordination of more than 30 events ranging from small luncheon/workshops to multi-day, multi-state events with six-figure budgets. I bring a solid background from years in the publishing industry, as well as, in economic development running projects at levels ranging from grass-roots local entrepreneurial initiatives to national economic development email marketing campaigns.
I am particularly interested in opportunities where I can personally influence and inspire individuals and help advance rural areas. My goal with eVentures Marketing is to apply my vast network of contacts with my passions, interests and expertise to assist building and sustaining rural communities and regions through inspiring and equipping it's residents - youth and adults - to become actively engaged in creating and contributing to the causes they believe will advance their area making it a place former youth, young families and future residents are proud of or long to call "home".
